Reschs Appreciation Society
Reschs... "The beer we drink round here"
Low carb, purified water, added lime, pale, light, boutique... If you're like me you've had enough of poonsy additives and marketing waffle and pray for a day when we can all return to drinking a good honest beer at a reasonable price. Well Reschs is that beer. It's is our state beer, it's a beer for working families, it's the best tasting beer in Australia.
Sadly, Reschs is found on tap at less and less pubs and clubs. Our state beer is being crowded out of the market by inferior product being brought in by selfish Victorians and Taswegians with bad taste.
Well enough is enough! Lets join as one and tell these oppresive liquor barons that we're sick of Reschs taking a back-seat.
The goals of this group are simple:
(1) To get enough members that we can be a powerful force for good in the liquor industry
(2) To be a place where like minded Reschs connoisseurs can publicise those pubs that still stock our beloved state drink We started as a facebook page and that's where most of our members are still most active. Please join in the conversation here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/reschsappreciationsociety
Together - lets start the revolution!

Other ways to get involved
- At this stage, all membership activities are coordinated primarily on our facebook group page so please check that out!
- Steve Junor (aka "The Keeper of the Map) maintains a Google Map which can also help locate a venue that stocks Reschs. Our Preferred Venues are listed with a Golden Pint glasses on the map.
Dress to impress
Over the years one of the things that has helped us all feel like part of the one community is having our own merchandise. There are two places where you can buy our merchandise.
First, we now have a print-on-demand store where you can buy T-shirts, Hoodies, Activewear, Dog Fleeces, Tee Towels, Coffee Mugs and MUCH MORE!
Second, for merchandise that needs to be ordered in bulk and sold in limited edition runs, we have our own online store. We normally only have one or two different items available in that store at any given time but it's quality over quantity!
Get rewarded when you buy Reschs online
Feeling thirsty but aren't able to get out to one of our preferred venues?
Why not purchase a case of beer at www.boozebud.com and claim your member discount. Use the promo code RESCHS10 and you will get 10% off and free shipping (major metropolitan areas only)
In The Media!
Over the years, our society has achieved a lot.
In late 2022 our group has become best known for having the audacity to open a Reschs focussed pub on George St in Sydney, The Resch House.
In August 2020, we helped bring back the silver bullet. In April 2022, we helped bring back the ever popular Reschs Dinner Ale. Then, in 2023, we helped with the launch of Reschs Real.
In recent years, we have also become just as well known for supporting regional tourism with the RAS Passport. Once again, the media have been incredibly interested in this initiative.
Slowly but surely the world is waking up, but we won't rest until Reschs takes back it's rightful place on the front of the NSW State of Origin jersey! Until then, you might like to peruse some of the latest media coverage about our group below...

The ONLY Passport Worth Owning !
To say that 2020 and 2021 were tough years for the hospitality industry would be an understatement. So we felt that we had to come up with something to help out.
The RAS passport is our way of supporting the pubs and clubs which have supported us over the past decade. The aim is to get our 10,000 strong membership base out there visiting venues they wouldn't have without it.
Each time our members buy a schooner of Reschs from a listed venue, they get their passport stamped. Passport holders have until December 31, 2022 to obtain a stampt a 100 pubs . Along the way, members earn official ranks that are recognised throughout our society.
Of course this whole initiatives is about supporting those venues who have done it tough over the last few years, but those maniacs who have already completed their passport journey have said that they have gotten just as much out of the initiative as they put in!
"I've seen places I never would’ve seen. Met people I never would’ve met. Loved every minute of the journey. Thanks for creating such an incredible experience."

A group of people making a big difference together!
We are a bunch of people that initially came together with a mutual love of Reschs. However, we soon realised that there was a big opportunity to make a difference together as well. Nowadays, all of our meet-ups have a charitable component. So far, we have raised over $53,000 to various charities. Our collective charitable contributions so far total over $28,000 to Movember, over $6,000 to My Men's Team, $6,666 for Mentoring Men, over $4,000 for Beyond Blue, $3,707 for Legacy Australia, $2,000 to the NSW Rural Fire Service, $1,450 for Dementia Australia, and $1,450 for NSW Health (Illawarra Shoalhaven District).
